Comment: This denarius contains the names of the three magistrates in charge of its coinage, C. Fabius. L. Roscius and Q. Marcius. There is another denarius in which the order of legend of the exergue is different, starting with Q.M and which comes as if from the Marcia family. Sear, in his catalog Roman Coins and their values, catalogs precisely this denarius with n 159 (p. 103) adding that the variant with the legend C F L R Q M is quite rare.
