Comment: This denarius contains the names of the three magistrates in charge of its coinage, Q. Marcius, C. Fabius. and L. Roscius. There is another denarius in which the order of the exergue legend is different, starting with C.F. which we classify as belonging to the Fabia family. The purse is a virtually unidentifiable Quintus Fabius according to Crawford. His colleagues are also unknown.
