Reverse: Curule chair with inscriptions, whose front and rear legs are decorated with sculpted eagles and on which a crown rests. Dotted border.

Comment: The motif on the reverse, a chair and a crown, were offered to Caesar and exhibited by Augustus to the plebs in 42 BC on the occasion of a celebrated Ludis, the Apolinaris. It is assumed to have been minted in Gaul.
