Comment: It is very likely that this denarius represents the honor of the father of the magistrate in charge of this coin, more specifically C.Lollius Palikanus, who in 67 BC. He had a candidacy to be consul and did not obtain it because a member of the Calpurnia family, Consul Piso, who was in charge of the elections, refused to proclaim him. There are variants of this denarius due to the decoration of the curule chair as well as the appearance of a crown on it.
