Comment: The Author of these denarii was moneyer under Julius Caesar and alludes to Caesar's victories. He was the father of another T.Carissius who was deployed in the Spanish Wars. As a curiosity, it is one of the last denarii in which, during the Republican period, a quadriga on the reverse was minted as a symbol.
